Finding Criminals with Footprints?

That’s what England is doing!

The University of Sheffield has developed a database of shoeprints to assist Police in criminal investigations. Shoeprints are taken at about 15% of all crime scenes.

A new law gives shoe print evidence the same weight as DNA and fingerprints.

I think that this is very innovative, and something that I can see the United States being interested in. Especially if it works.
