Security Cameras Capture Crimes on Tape

It’s no surprise that security cameras have been installed just about everywhere. You can find them in homes, in businesses and places where the public congregates.
Most times, security cameras just record a days events..
But sometimes security cameras catch criminals in the act and help lead to their arrest and prosecution.Â
Life was much different before the use of security cameras. In fact, I remember a time when you could sleep at night without having to lock your front door. Not something that most would do in todays day and age. Crimes can happen in your home, a parking lot, or anywhere.
If there were one thing I could do to improve the use of security cameras, I’d make it so that the information being recorded could be transmitted to someone “live time” to help prevent the crime, and not just solve it after someone has been victimized. Casinos have this sort of technology, but I’m sure someone is being paid handsomely to analyze the raw data from gaming tables and throughout the casino itself. Probably because there’s a lot more money at stake.
These changes would have to implemented by the cities or businesses themselves, and probably don’t represent enough of a cost savings to them…
