Verizon in Agreements to Offer FiOs TV
April 12, 2006 – 1:08 pmFiOS Television could be a reality for the residents of Hempstead, New York.Â
What does this mean? Pending approval from the New York
State Public Service Commision, it would give consumers more choice for video content through high fiber data lines.
This is done through the FTTP protocol, which gives excellent picture quality and high definiton programming.
This entire network is currently being constructed by in half of the states that it currently offers Lanlines in. This includes more than 200 New York communities.
