Blu-Ray Discs delayed until June 20th. 2006

The much anticipated Blu-Ray HDTV Discs have been delayed by a month, according to the company. Presumably the delay is because of Samsung:

The decision to hold off shipping Blu-ray titles to retailers comes several weeks after Samsung announced its first Blu-ray player wouldn’t arrive in stores until June 25, a month behind schedule.

The original list of titles available on Blu-Ray Discs is limited. Expect more titles as the manufacturers begin releasing equipment that supports the format. The HDTV revolution is one step closer to reality.
