New Blu-Ray solution from Panasonic announced (DMP-BD10)
June 22, 2006 – 6:09 pmPanasonic has entered the Blu-Ray market with their newest HDTV home theater solution. The home theater solution consists of the following Panasonic components:

- Blu-ray Disc player (DMP-BD10)
- Matching receiver (SA-XR700)
- Speaker system (SB-TP1000)
All are coming to a store near you by September of 2006.
While sold separately, these three products are designed to work
seamlessly together as a complete high definition home theater system. Each
has been designed to optimize the benefits of Blu-ray Disc technology when
integrated with Panasonic’s industry-leading Plasma HDTVs. For high
definition entertainment optimization, Panasonic will also debut its first
1080P-capable 65-inch Plasma display (TH-65PX600) in fall 2006.
This is big news for home theater afficionados. The combined unit is bound to provide the highest levels of sound and video quality. The 65 inch screen sounds truly bounteous.
Support for Blu-Ray is heating up, as more than 170 manufactures are signed on for the standard. Early offerings are hitting the stores this week, so more reactions are expected to roll in shortly.
The new Panasonic HDTV home theatre solutions has a MSRP of $2999.95.
