More and more consumers find targeted shopping online

The internet is good for a lot of things, and shopping has always been one of them. People who shop online find that websites help them customize orders. More and more people are having trouble ordering clothes, so the e-tailers have gone to ingenious lengths to ensure that people buy clothes that actually fit.
Enter an emerging niche of companies attempting to take the guesswork out of sizing. While Landsends.com, among the first to offer custom clothing online, allows shoppers to choose the type of wash for jeans and khakis, as well as details like rise and leg shape, and J.C. Penney and J. Crew offer on-line fit guides for bras and swimsuits, new Web sites MyShape.com and Zafu.com are taking sizing precision one step further.
One of the keys to consumers shopping online has been the convenience. Now with the clothes fitting better, a lot of the objections have been answered. The trend towards buying clothes online is huge, and will represent $14 billion this year alone.
It’s technology to the rescue for women hate to shop. They can spend less time shopping and more time on activities they find more enjoyable.
