Visit New York Nintendo store on September 9th, win 2 DS Lites with 10 games

Do you live in New York City? Or are you planning on visiting the city around September 9th? If the answer to either question is “yes”, you stand a good chance of walking away with two Nintendo DS Lites and ten games, assuming you’re quick with your fingers and are comfortable with the recent DS game, “Brain Age”.

If this superb prize really is to be handed out as Gameworld Network reports, we’re talking a value of over $600. These are some serious winnings, folks. And let’s face it, the DS Lite is a pretty slick piece of kit — you can even browse the web on it if you’re not particularly into games. It’s well worth having a crack at it if you’ll be in the area.

All you have to do is head over to the Nintendo World Store on the aforementioned date and win their Brain Age tournament. Brain Age is a very popular game with people of all ages due to its mixture of brain-testing puzzles ranging from simple drawing skills to mathematics. Although you’re only supposed to play it for a little while per day to keep your brain in tip-top condition, they’re clearly taking no prisoners during this tournament and each contestant will have all manner of varying puzzles continuously thrown at them.

The catch? You have to be a grandparent to participate. At least, you’d assume so considering the prize is for the “Coolest Grandparent of the Year”. So if you aren’t of the older generation, it looks like you’re going to have to take your elders down to the store with you and hope they can keep their cool amongst their DS-hungry peers. It could get nasty in there.

If you’re unable to participate in the tournament yourself or cannot find an appropriate stand-in, not to worry! Anybody shopping in the store on September 9th will also enjoy a 10% discount on everything they buy. With that extra cash you could do anything. Buy a chocolate bar? Coffee? The world’s your oyster.
