Samsung has been on a roll lately, releasing products at a staggering rate. This time they’ve turned their attention to a Laser Printer and Fax combination that promises to impress. The new monitors are 19, 20 and 22-inch widescreen monitors that have met the technical standards to qualify for Microsoft’s Windows Vista Premium certification. All three monitors, the SyncMaster 906BW, 206BW and 226BW were displayed last week at the CES and should be available for sale in 2007.
“Samsung has worked closely with Microsoft to ensure that all of our widescreen monitors to be released in 2007 comply with the standards for Windows Vista premium certification” said Ha Yoon-ho, senior vice president, visual display division, Samsung Electronics Company. “By achieving premium certification status, Samsung has solidified our place as a leader in this market segment and has paved the way for a lasting global partnership with Microsoft.”
All three of the new SyncMaster monitors feature a lightning-fast 2ms (GTG) response time and a dynamic 3000:1 contrast ratio, providing for vivid, true-to-life image quality. The three widescreen monitors are further equipped with dual inputs (DVI-D & Analog) and they are HDCP capable for real-time TV or DVD viewing.
As with all things Vista, it might take a number of months before these monitors are actually available, but look for them to be a decent price/feature option.
