Apple Has Sold 100 Million Ipods

To say that the Ipod has been a good performer for Apple would qualify as a major understatement. The company says they’ve now sold 100,000,000 units! Not too many consumer products have ever reached that lofty plateau.

Apple Inc. said on Monday it has sold 100 million iPods since launching the digital media player in November 2001.

Apple said its iTunes online music store has sold more than 2.5 billion songs, 50 million television shows and more than 1.3 million movies.
