Broadcom is not happy with Qualcomm these days, claiming the company is fraud. It’s not uncommon in the tech world for companies to get into bitter disputes about technology, and this case is no different.
The two companies have been involved in several patent infringement disputes, including one in which Broadcom has sought an import ban on phones with certain Qualcomm chips.
Broadcom said it filed its complaint late on Thursday in California Superior Court in Orange County.
In the complaint, Broadcom accused Qualcomm of improperly concealing its patents, reneging on licensing obligations, and exerting market dominance through hidden affiliations.
Broadcom is not the only company that currently has issues with Qualcomm.
