Gadgets Causing Memory Loss?

Well, no one is saying that just yet, despite the fact that billions of people now hold electronic devices near their brains for much of the day. But many people who use gadgets no longer exercise their faculty of memory. They don’t need to, because the gadgets have their own memory.

We no longer have to remember addresses, phone numbers, or even birthdays.

“No I haven’t memorized an address or a phone number in God knows how many years. They’re all on my phone,” said Cameron Griffin.

With people carrying so much information on their phones and laptops these days, technology has put or memories at a stand still.

“No, one of my best friends, I don’t know her cell phone number. I just go to contacts to hit her, absolutely,” said Tisha Strabley.

The gadget industry has had a simple solution to this problem: just keep adding memory to the devices!
