Have you ever wanted to turn your slides and negatives from the good old days into modern day digital prints?

Rejoice - For soon that day has come!

A handy new gadget (not yet available) will easily and effectively turn your old 35 MM negatives and slides into digital media without having rely on a conversion service. All you have to do is place your slides and negatives into proper alignment. A touch of a button scans the image instantly. It has a 5MP CMOS sensor that provides 10 bits per color channel for data conversion, and uses fixed focus and automatic exposure control and color balance, resulting in clear digital images without loss of resolution.

It’s powered by your computer via USB and allows you to do photo transfers. It also comes with editing software so you can crop, edit and resize as well as convert your negatives into positives.

This handy little device becomes available in early September at Hammacher and costs $99.95.
