Here’s a nice way to be unhooked from the power grid. You can now charge many common electric devices using nothing more than the power of Sol. At a cost of $99.95, the Solio Universal Hybrid Portable Solar Charger can charge disparate devices such as your iPod, cell phone, or GPS.

Three high-efficiency solar panels fold out like a fan, just set it in the sun to charge it up. It also charges with the included 115V AC adapter.
Incredibly easy to use, simply connect to your device, push a button and you’re charging!
The built-in lithium ion battery holds the energy until you want to charge your device. An LED indicator lets you know how much energy is stored in your Solio® and tells you when it’s charging.
Compact design fits comfortably in your pocket or handbag. Solio generates clean energy right out of the box. Solio has been made Carbon Neutral by planting trees in protected bio-diverse forests, and is even made from recycled and recyclable materials.
This could also come in quite handy the next time you take a vacation and end up at a place that is inhospitable to your electric needs. It will take 5-8 hours to charge this puppy up, but then you’re off to the races.
