Cell Deck allows Police to Download Data from PDA’s and Cell Phones
April 21, 2006 – 7:05 amA new device called the “Cell Deck” gives police the ability to download data from PDA’s and Cell Phones.
This technology was developed by Logicube, a company based in Chatsworth California. It’s compatible with over 160 cell phones and PDA models. With just a few taps of a stylus, the Cell Deck is able to identify the cell phone model, and then connect to the SIM card to download and/print text messages, audio and video downloads, and call logs.
The CIA, FBI and even Scotland Yard are already using this to help fight terrorism and other crimes.
The Cell Deck comes with a price tag of $20,000.00, but is probably worth the money to help protect and defend. You just have to wonder how many “little guys” will be affected by this technology..
