Facebook Connect For Apple iPhone And iPod Released

Facebook Connect has expanded for use onto the Apple iPhone and iPod. You can now use your Facebook login credentials on sites that require them while surfing the web on your iPhone or iPod.

This is more proof that people can’t live without their social networks.

Facebook Connect was unveiled over the weekend at the South By Southwest Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas. The audience comprised of software makers who began testing the new platform, “It opens up so many new opportunities, said Jim Myers who attended the panel talk.

The Facebook Connect application originally launched last year as a way to share social networking services from Facebook to other Web sites. Up to the present moment, there hasn’t been an application to bring Apple’s iPhone community into the Facebook realm. The new app can be used by mobile phones users to play games and other software, they would normally play from their home computer.
