Happy first birthday for Snuppy the Cloned Dog

That’s right, Snuppy the Cloned Dog is celebrating his first birthday, after a year that had a ton of strange developments for the scientific breakthrough canine. In fact, the case of Snuppy the Cloned dog is now being referred to as one of the greatest scientific frauds ever conceived.

The process was difficult and costly. A total of 1,095 reconstructed embryos were transferred into 123 surrogates to create two living puppies. The other cloned dog died after 22 days from pneumonia.

Dogs are considered one of the toughest animals of all to clone. Despite the controversy, Snuppy appears to be a happy one year old. “Happy Birthday, Snuppy…And many more…”.
