Giving Netflix A Try

March 4, 2008 – 11:05 am

Blockbuster has forced change. The local Blockbuster minutes from our house is closing their doors forever.

We saw it coming. The large “anchor” store in their location left a couple of years ago and a PAKMAIL business next door left in January.

So we were left to decide what to do to rent movies. We didn’t want to add services to our cable bill and didn’t want to drive 10 miles to the “nearest” Blockbuster.

After some consideration we decided to give Netflix a try. Right now we’re on a free trial and our first set of movies are supposed to arrive in today’s mail.

Hopefully Netflix lives up to our expectations.. I’ll keep you posted on our experience.
